Established in a village near Mount Fuji in 1934 the company was company was known as Fuji Photo Film until 2006, and is now known as FujiFilm Holdings Corporation. It was 1948 when the company started producing it's first cameras, and in 1988 they introduced their first digital camera. Fuji controls 200+ subsidiary companies around the globe, with factories in North America, Asia and Europe. As it is, FujiFilm cameras and FujiFilm digital cameras are still known as some of the highest quality products available. FujiFilm has branded their digital camera line with the name "FinePix." FujiFilm cameras come in many models, appropriate for both beginning and advanced photographers.
Fuji Camera film has been known and recognized as one of the best in the industry, and is easily recognizable by it's usual distinct green color. There is even a FujiFilm sponsored NASCAR car, and of course it's recognizable because of the same color pattern. FujiFilm is also one of the primary sponsors of the FIFA World Cup.
